A fantasy makeup featuring a hand painted, foam latex, prosthetic headpiece with ventilated "moss"

and Model Magic mushrooms. 

 

Three different prosthetics were cast from the same mold using different materials: silicone, foam latex, and slush molded latex.  Foam latex was used for the final makeup because it was solid and sturdy enough to maintain the desired shape and height, while remaining light enough that such a large prosthetic was not in danger of falling.
