A working mother, Dolores wore two different styles of house dresses.  The first was a plaid wrap dress.  The  plaid cotton chosen for the dress was thin and easily see-through, so the fabric was flatlined with an Ambiance rayon lining. A modesty panel was added to the bodice for additional coverage. A contrasting purple cotton waist tie and cuffs finish the dress.

Dolores's second house dress was a mauve, floral cotton gown with a gathered skirt and a button up bodice.  A red-wine contrast cotton collar and cuffs, along with a braided belt finish the look.
